Jessee Lane Lee was born in Nashville Tennessee a singer-songwriter heavily influenced by the older genres of music. Jessee's father, grammy nominated singer-songwriter and Texas recording artist David Lee, introduced her to blues, big band, and jazz music at an early age. At the age of 6 Jessee began playing guitar, and soon afterwards began writing her own music. Although Jessee was influenced by country music, she enjoyed the music her dad introduced to her when she was dancing on his feet. As a vocalist, Jessee has an Amy Winehouse inflection and offers the tone of Norah Jones in her voice. Yet, with that said, the most riveting of her sound comes from the songs she writes which are a velvety-blues feel with a jazzy, and sometimes country twist. Lee's lyrics paint pictures, touch on real life subject matter and make listeners smile, tear up, and dance. Jessee now resides in Texas where she plays all over the state, honing her craft as a songwriter and preparing to return to Nashville to take her talents to the next level.

Jessee Lane Lee and Bonnie Lang host the Shade Tree Saloons first ever all female music round. One special guest from San Antonio, Austin, or one of the surrounding areas gets invited each month and the three ladies do an acoustic round. Expect to hear both original and cover tunes that range from country greats to blues classics. It is the second Tuesday of every month starting in November and it is conveniently located off 281 in Spring Branch.
A NOTE FROM JESSEE LANE LEE ABOUT HER CD:
Hi! I have been performing and writing music since I was about 9 years old. Twelve years later, I have chosen music to be my career. I need to record an album in order to share my music with music venues, you and new fans I meet every time I play. At this time, I have nothing to give them and hope they will follow me on social media until I have a cd to give them. A professional record is very expensive, great players and studio time are the majority of the expense. Consider studio time, the engineer who helps the producer, and musicians, not to mention the expense of having the cd's duplicated and shipped. As you can tell it's an important tool to have in todays world, and it'll allow me to put butts in seats and get into some good music venues. I am also saving money to put toward this goal, and have believers who will contribute once I meet $7,500K. With that said, I have been advised to create a Go Fund Me to help with some of the funding for my upcoming project. I'm trying to keep it simple for those who can donate and would like to have a good recording of my music. I will use this platform to keep everyone updated on each step of the way from the cost to the recording dates.
